Molly, What a wonderful thing you are doing. I used to raise goats…or maybe they raised me. I LOVED our goats, milked them, played with them, bottle fed the babies, went on test with the university in Oregon to have % of butter fat tested, most were “pets” that would follow me everywhere when turned out of their pasture. All of thm knew their name and would come running when called. All knew what their number was in the order of being milked. I don’t have them anymore, but love them still. My daughter (Shelly Paden) lives in OK and is now getting into goats and uses your web site as her bible. Thank you so much for what you are doing. I hope this makes people appreciate goats……. and I remind people all the time when the opportunity arrises that the milk from the goat can be given to any ANY mammal on the planet. What a blessed animal, and one that is so often misunderstood and not appreciated to the degree that they deserve. Bless you San

Tiny ears is a trait of the LaMancha breed. Just like basset hounds have long ears … it’s part of the breed standard.
