About This Project
Photography, writing, driving, cars, bikes and goats… I know it’s a odd assortment, but it’s what interests me.
You’d think my huge Fias Co Farm site, that deals mostly with goats, cheesemaking and graphic design, and my, Molly’s Herbals site, that deals with natural health care for animals, would keep me busy enough. Well actually, on top of running my farm and businesses, it does, but I like also enjoy working on this particular site/blog where I can share my photographs and interests with anyone else who might enjoy it.
I consider this my PhotoJournal…. though I guess it really a blog with lots of photos. I also am slowly collecting my assorted essays here in an orderly fashion.
The more I motor over to the road known as The Dragon, and meet the wonderful people there… the road and the people inspire me to write and take even more photos.
Of course I’ll also talk about goats here, they are a huge part of my life and I enjoy writing about them and taking plenty of photos.
Things evolve as we journey through life, and this journal may, and probably will, evolve as time goes on. I hope you enjoy it. Feedback is always welcome.

Preface:
Just as a preface to my main comment I wanted to say that it is very very difficult doing these spam-protection math problems in order to post a comment. Especially for a goat farmer. Lower the bar, I say! Ask people to spell “potato,” or “potatoe.” Or perhaps “synecdoche” or “villanelle” if they are English majors. Thank you.
Main Comment:
This is a cool blog, I knew about Fiasco Farm but I did not know this blog was here. Is WordPress better than blogspot? Should I switch? Can I install it on my server or is it too difficult for a goat farmer? Thank you. Excellent blog.
Thank you.

If you join this blog: Under MEMBERS on the left side bar, and sign in, you will never have to do the spam protection again. I’m sorry about putting you through the wringer, but if I didn’t have the protection, this blog would get 100 comments a day advertising drugs and porn.
I like WordPress. It just depends on how web savvy you are. It’s is not hard to use, in my opinion. I like the control I have with it. This particular blog is totally custom designed by me.
If your sever can handle databases, it should be able to handle WordPress.

I saw your site listed in Nexgen Photo Gallery’s page. How did you get the random images in your sidebar to pop put when you click on them? did you have to install another plugin?
Thanks!

I did not really install another plug in…. that is if you have both Nexgen and NextGEN Gallery Widget installed. I am using the newest version of Nexgen. You need both installed. Then you just add the gallery to your sidebar on the widgets page.

Dear Molly,
Thanks for the wonderful website(s), blog, photos and videos! I have a goat question, which may be out of place here on this blog. Would you direct my message to the correct place, if you have time?
Here are my questions: Does a dog do well with goats? Can a dog become a goat-herding dog? And if so, what kind of dogs do best? Please forgive, I could not find it on your goat husbandry page.

I am paying close attention to your advice on goats,as i am in the process of getting into dairy goats.
On another path you would be the one to ask about
a digital camera?I am asuming me being an unprofessional I would be better off staying under 10 mp.
How low can i go (mp)and still be satisfied with picture and color quality, and still be relativly easy to understand and operate?
I have considered the following; a cannon ps a480,
epson 3000z,nikon coolpix 990.
Am i in the ballpark on these? If not please make a
suggestion(s) thx
I have your website saved in my favorites
